Call of Duty MW 3: system Requirements and gameplay
Before we speculate about the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 system requirements, let’s take a look at the system requirements of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2:
CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz / Athlon 64 X2 4400+
Grahpic: Geforece 8800+ / Radeon X1800 Series
RAM: 2GB+ (4GB rec.)
DirectX: 9
Now, let’s speculate. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 probably needs a bit more CPU power, possibly a Athlon 64 5000+ and a Core 2 Duo with 2.6 GHz. However, if you take a look at the system requirements of DiRT 3, you’ll see that a 2011 game can easily have higher recommended system requirements: Phenom X4 / Core i5 is recommended for DiRT 3.
Graphic card requirements will also be higher, possibly a graphic card with at least 512MB RAM. Radeon HD 5670 and higher. Also, I have my doubts that Modern Warfare 3 will run lag-free with 2GB RAM. 4GB is recommended nowadays, especially if you run Windows 7 64-bit.
